These Terms govern your use of the mobile application "Static" (the "App"). By using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be 16 years or older to use the App. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. The service

The App is an entertainment game featuring fictional AI companions and a random reward ("gacha") mechanic. Characters are fictional and responses are generated by AI.

3. Accounts

You may browse as a guest, but to chat with characters you create an account with just your email. We do not use passwords: you sign in with a one-time code we email to you. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or abuse the service.

4. Virtual items and currency

• Stardust, orbs, shards, characters and other in-game items are a limited, personal, revocable license to use features inside the App.
• They have no real-world or monetary value. They cannot be sold, traded, gifted, transferred, or exchanged for money or anything of value outside the App.
• There is no marketplace, no cash-out, and no crypto or NFT functionality.
• We may change, add or remove items and balancing for the ongoing operation of the game.

5. Purchases and random items

• Purchases of in-game currency, subscriptions and other digital items are optional and are processed by the app store (Apple or Google) and managed via RevenueCat. Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes where required.
• Some items are obtained through random draws ("pulls"). The probabilities are published in the App and shown before and next to each paid pull. Outcomes are random and independent per pull. Pity guarantees are described in the App.
• Refunds are handled according to the app store policy and your statutory rights. Because digital items are delivered immediately, the EU right of withdrawal may no longer apply once delivery has started with your consent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: cheat, exploit bugs, automate play, reverse engineer the App, attempt to access other users' data, or use the AI features to generate unlawful, harmful or infringing content.

7. AI content

AI responses are generated and may be inaccurate, fictional or unexpected. They are not professional advice of any kind. You are responsible for how you use them.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, and we may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the country where you live.
